PROTEST THE HERO - (WHITBY, ON):

Protest The Hero is a progressive metal band from Whitby, Ontario that currently consists of Rody Walker, Tim MacMillar, and Luke Hoskin. Formed in 1999, the band has released five albums. In 2014, the band's fourth studio record, 'Volition,' took home the Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album. This year, the band is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its debut EP 'A Calculated Use of Sound.'

BAD WAITRESS - (TORONTO, ON)

Bad Waitress is a punk rock band from Toronto who have been making music together since 2018. Their high-energy sound utilizes fast tempos, heavy licks, and very loud guitars. They strive to create an inclusive and empowering environment, and describe their sound as “FEROCIOUS, SHAMELESS, ECCENTRIC PSYCHO MUSIC MANIIIAAAAA.”

CHINESE MEDICINE - (TORONTO, ON)

Chinese Medicine is a punk rock band from Toronto, influenced heavily by ‘80s and modern post-punk music. Their 2021 EP “Die Aspora” launched their career, and they have only grown since then, being featured on CBC Music's “9 2SLGBTQIA+ Canadian musicians to listen to in 2023.” Their live shows are known for their explosive and politically charged energy.
