Alt-folk aficionado Evan Jackson is a singer/songwriter born and based in Kingston, Ontario. Growing up an only child in a family with an appreciation for music, he realized early on that this was the way he was going to discover and express himself. He soaked up the sounds and words of those he loved, allowing it to shape his sound. At home on the stage, with a guitar or with a full band, Evan weaves stories that are dark, electrifying, and magnetic.

Jon has been a staple of the local folk music scene for more than 15 years as a solo performer and member of Turpin’s Trail, Crooked Wood, and The Goodnight Irenes.
