CAM KAHIN - (Toronto, ON):
Set time: 11:45pm - 12:30am
As a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Cam has been pouring out his own experiences and emotions into his music. Cam has been playing music since he was 12 years old and has been developing his skill set ever since. His music leans toward an experimental/alternative-rock sound, from which he says is due to his upbringing listening to bands such as Radiohead, Cage the Elephants, and Biffy Clyro.
KAKAOW - (Kingston, ON):
Set time: 1:00am - 2:00am
KaKaow (aka. Ricky Brant ) is a psychedelic and funk-infused
multi-instrumentalist with over a decade of professional music
experience. His work has been showcased in venues across Canada
throughout his playing history including The Oasis – Halifax, NS, The
Grand Theatre – Kingston, ON, and Vincent Massey Park – Ottawa, ON,
during the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival in 2014.
THE MERINGUES - (Kingston, ON):
Set time: 10:30pm - 11:15pm
The Meringues are the personification of ragged, unbridled energy,
both on stage and in the music that they have created for their debut
self-titled release. There is more than just random chaos though. There
is a focused energy, enveloped around songs that possess catchy,
memorable melodies and lyrical sentiments that are bitingly fierce,
striking to the core of relationship dysfunction and the prevalence of
self-doubt and darkness that exist within so many of us.
